A wonderful stay - superb location in a modern well equipped home Positive: Absolute tranquility - I loved the views and also the property itself - Very private but location close enough to other facilities which are available in the Karkloof area - couldn't have wished for more Negative: N/a

The most peaceful and refreshing stay at [Belvidere Country Estate], and it was truly a hidden gem!

Pleasant Positive: Perfect break away from the city. Negative: The communication lagged. There is no network until you connect to the WIFi. I had to ask where we can find the keys, it was not communicated prior. We had to drive to staff quarters to get that info. Also, no communication regarding how to use the hot tub, we had to ask and the lady was keen to explain over the phone and not send help. We had to request them to help us. I think these small things could be alleviated if the host met you at the property during check in, and they show you where they keep some items (mops etc), and how to utilise facilities like the hot tub.

Beautiful Belvidere Loft Positive: Such a beautiful unit in the Karkloof area. The outdoor hot tub is great and the unit fully kitted out. The beds were comfy too and we loved that we could bring our 2 pups. Negative: It is on a farm so the flies are unfortunately really noticeable- we did love seeing the cows though!

Tranquil with great views Positive: We really had a great stay with friends. The social and kitchen area was a great way to spend the afternoons having a BBQ and just watching the sun set against the mountains. It is really tranquil up there! Negative: The steps to the bedroom is a little unnerving, but you get used to it.
